rotu dvar map rotation was there but cod4's own dvar map rotation was missing so i added rotu maps in map rotation so backlot issue is gone BUT.
NOW NOTHER issue arised, server changing map automatically after wave 9,,,,, why? any time or wave limit?

My ROTU server has 20 minute timeouts when started, and when the map changes, and nobody can join. We had been running this server for a long time with 1.7,
I just restarted it again, and we started having this problem?
Anybody know cure for this? Its driving us nutz
any help would be very very much appreciated

That is because COD4 Master server down from week or more so you got timedout and sometimes take time to join the server

Probably like Killerman said. If so you'll get stuck at authorizing code or something along these lines.
The COD4 master server is down again, maybe for good this time, so joining any not cracked server takes a long time if at all.
I suggest either using a cracked server or 1.7a/1.8.

Im not sure this has been reported yet , but the following bug catched my attention:

Date/time : See foolwing , occurs on "trigger"

When using Scout Class, and scoring a large Kill (20+) with the monkey bomb , it ocassionally happens that the player gets disconnected.

So far as i Observed, it is in relation. My guess is it conflicts with zombie spawning/ zobmie count, for example, thescout kills all zombies on the battlefield at that moment with monkeybomb ,
the count reads zero , an error occurs , the player gets dissconnected. I gonna do some more testing on that and report futher findings

hi guys

i have problem with lunch cod4 rotu dedicated server on gameranger

i create startMod.bat file and added this line

+set fs_game mods/rotu-r-alpha +set net_port <port> +set net_ip
<server_ip> +set ui_maxclients 64 +set sv_maxclients
<player_count> +set sv_punkbuster 0 +set rcon_password
<rcon_password> +exec general.cfg

and mod run in local and i play whitout problem

now my big problem, i can not add above line on iw3mp.exe ?????

pls help me

secend problem when i click start in gameranger for run dedicated server
for hc or other mod, cod4 consol run but host light is not green until
join players

i live in iran and can not buy server of this or other site becz high ping

Regarding your first problem, to add the arguments to iw3mp.exe you have to create a shortcut, then add the arguments in that shortcut.
Also make sure to actually replace the <...> things with fitting values.

Sadly I do not have any experience with gameranger and thus I can not help you with anything specifically related to gameranger.
Also this is not a bug in the mod and thus should not go into this thread.

i added before run order on iw3mp shortcut target field after iw3mp.exe but gameranger just run of main iw3mp file and can not use it
